The central pillar of the agency for a united team. This tall, short man is undoubtedly the king of “los juegos de palabras” (word games for the less Spanish-speaking among us). As the agency’s director and sales representative, he knows every nook and cranny of Costa Rica and will generously share all its secrets with you.
Anne runs the agency like a mother. She is the core of the company, solving all our small and large problems. Caring and attentive, she is the one who feeds the social networks to make you dream even before landing on our beloved Costa Rican soil. She is on the lookout for new trends.
Arnaud is the son of Anne and Pierre, the agency’s founders. After studying political science in France, he joined his parents in Costa Rica, where he learned the ropes of running a travel agency. His path then took him further north to Mexico, where he settled while continuing to work for the family business and writing the website’s blog.
Maëlle, Costa Rica Découverte’s longest-serving recruit. She arrived in September 2010 and rose through the ranks. In 2020, a difficult year for tourism, she decided to return to her roots in France. But after four years, Costa Rica caught her eye again, and she naturally found her position at Costa Rica Découverte.
Sandrine, 53, French and Costa Rican, has lived in Costa Rica for almost 20 years.
A mother of two grown children, she has an unusual background. She joined our team in 2021 and loves handling your reservations, finding solutions to any potential problems, and firmly negotiating rates or services.
Venezuelan by birth, at 23, she set out to conquer France. After learning the language of Molière in Paris, she turned to literary studies in Grenoble. After 9 years, she decided to join her family in Costa Rica. At Costa Rica Découverte, she is in charge of the proper management of supplier invoices.
Susana, our ever-smiling sales representative, is a Costa Rican by birth. She will prepare your trip with care. Attentive, attentive, and meticulous, your trip will correspond in every way to your desires. French has long since become her second language since marrying a Frenchman.
Natalia is our loyal French teacher. In addition to her duties at Costa Rica Découverte, she teaches French to young students. She’s the one who prepares and reviews your roadbooks, reservations, and the little details that make a trip a success.

Luany is a Costa Rican through and through. She had the opportunity to live in Paris after following her husband to France. It was there that she learned to speak French. But her main asset is having worked for a long time in the tourism industry. She may be the one who welcomes you upon your arrival, and perhaps also your contact during your stay.
Daniela joined Costa Rica Découverte in November 2024. Her unusual background convinced us to give her a chance, and we were right to do so. She loves her country and adores tourism. She lived in Paris for 5 years where she was a tour guide at the Eiffel Tower. A wonderful person who will welcome you and help you during your stay.
Our first male intern was quickly adopted. A quick detour to Canada, then a return to France, and here he is again in Costa Rica. His freelance status gives him the independence he needs. He handles all the monitoring and improvement of the IT tools. A true gem who optimizes our work.
Company mascot, he was in Costa Rica Discovering what toucans and sloths can be like in Costa Rica: it’s our emblem. Behind deceptive appearances, this big dog was actually a bundle of affection! RIP: Tweet was a big kid until the end of his life on December 30, 2024, at the respectable age of almost 13.
