1.Reservations
The customer must notify Costa Rica Découverte – PLAYA MONTANA Y SOL CRD S.R.L. – by e-mail of any reservations to be made. The quotation sent to you may be returned to us accepted if no changes are made.
You must provide Costa Rica Découverte – PLAYA MONTANA Y SOL CRD S.R.L. with the full names and dates of birth of participants, as well as arrival and departure dates, flight times and numbers.
Upon receipt of your e-mail, Costa Rica Découverte – PLAYA MONTANA Y SOL CRD S.R.L. will contact the relevant service providers as soon as possible and proceed with reservations.
In the event that one of the services is not available, Costa Rica Découverte – PLAYA MONTANA Y SOL CRD S.R.L. will propose a variant or alternative, which we will submit to you. You will have the opportunity to accept or decline.
Once you have agreed, we will send you an invoice. For the Christmas and New Year period, you may be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit in advance by credit card in order to make a firm reservation. All our rates are quoted in US dollars with the equivalent in euros at the current exchange rate. Invoices are issued and payable in US dollars.
RESERVATIONS STARTING JULY 1, 2020
All booked trips are subject to a deposit of 30% of the total amount.
The balance is due 45 days before arrival.
If, 45 days before your arrival, the health situation does not allow you to travel to Costa Rica, we will offer you a credit note for the total amount paid or a refund of the deposit.
If the request for postponement or cancellation is not related to Covid-19, the cancellation conditions in article 3 will apply.
2.Regulations
You must pay Costa Rica Découverte – PLAYA MONTANA Y SOL CRD S.R.L. at least 30% of the total invoice amount. A second payment of 30% may be collected in order to spread out your payments. The balance must be paid 45 days before arrival.
COSTA RICA DECOUVERTE accepts the following payments:
– bank transfers in USD to an account in USD. You are responsible for any bank charges your bank may levy. You will need to e-mail us the bank transfer confirmation (not the transfer order) from your bank in order to validate your reservation.
– credit cards: you can pay by credit card, on a totally secure online site, in USD.
We accept the following cards: Visa – Mastercard.
Costa Rica Découverte will send you a payment link that will enable you to pay online directly on our website on a secure Banco Nacional page.
In the event of a partial or total refund, we will make the refund by the same means you used to pay.
– in cash (USD) on the day of arrival, subject to prior payment of 70% by bank transfer or credit card and with the prior agreement of Costa Rica Découverte.
3.Cancellations or modifications non-Covid related
Before your arrival, any cancellation and/or modification on your initiative must be communicated to us by e-mail and we will acknowledge receipt. The COSTA RICA DECOUVERTE agency will proceed with modifications or partial or total cancellations according to your instructions.
No cancellation insurance is included in your invoice (except for car rentals).
Partial or total CANCELLATION CHARGES :
– More than 45 days before arrival date: 30% of the total cost.
– Between 44 days and 30 days from arrival date: 40% of the total cost.
– Between 29 days and 15 days from arrival date: 70% of the total cost.
– Between 14 days and the date of arrival: 95% of the total cost of the booking.
– Services will not be reimbursed during the journey or the duration of your stay.
MODIFICATION FEES :
– More than 45 days prior to arrival date: 10% of the total amount paid.
– Between 44 days and 30 days from arrival date: 20% of the amount of services paid.
– Between 29 days and 15 days prior to arrival: 50% of the amount paid.
– Between 14 days and the date of arrival: 95% of the amount paid.
You must inform us as soon as possible of any cancellation due to a flight delay on arrival or any other reason. In this case, no refund will be made.
Any change in travel dates is considered as a cancellation. See conditions above.
4.Travel Insurances
No cancellation insurance is included in your invoice (except for car rentals).
However, you can take out individual insurance.
Assur Travel or AVA Assurance offer attractive packages.
5.Extreme Emergency Cases
Costa Rica Découverte reserves the right to cancel, postpone or modify your trip in the event of events that could disrupt its smooth running (e.g. epidemics, riots, political unrest, natural disasters, etc.). Costa Rica Découverte – PLAYA MONTANA Y SOL CRD S.R.L. undertakes to follow up on the situation and help you with any necessary steps.
If repatriation is necessary, the cost will be borne by each traveler.
6.Disputes
In the event of a dispute, only the Commercial Court of San José – Costa Rica will be empowered to arbitrate.
7.Assistance
COSTA RICA DECOUVERTE will assist you throughout your stay.
A telephone number will be given to you on arrival, enabling you to contact us 24 hours a day.
8.Responsibility
COSTA RICA DÉCOUVERTE cannot be held responsible for accidents, theft or loss that may occur during your stay, nor for cancellations due to your fault, climatic or exceptional events.
