Clothing and accessories

Bring mainly light clothing, short for the day, long for the evening, mosquitoes love tourists! It’s useful to know that they also love dark colors.
A jacket, a sweater, lightweight shoes, walking shoes, or rubber boots, depending on your activities, will be necessary. Depending on your itinerary, we will tell you what not to forget.
Electrical accessories: Bring an adapter for the outlets. In Costa Rica, the outlets are American-style (2 flat pins + 1 round grounded inlet). The current is 110 volts, which means a longer charging time (it is not necessary to bring a power adapter).
Most importantly, don’t forget your camera and/or video camera. You might want to consider using dehumidifier bags for your electronics, which are very useful for preventing them from fogging up.
For your stay in Costa Rica, remember to prepare a small first aid kit, practical for minor injuries.
